myMISSIONSM is the WMU® missions organization for young adult women. WMU leads people, individually and corporately, to be involved in missions through:
- Praying for missions
- Engaging in mission action and witnessing
- Learning about missions
- Supporting missions
- Developing spiritually toward a missions lifestyle
- Participating in the work of the church and the denomination
As a nonprofit organization headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, Woman's Missionary Union® offers a vast array of missions resources including curriculum for age-level organizations in churches, volunteer opportunities, conferences, leadership training, ministry ideas and models, books, and much more.
The main purpose of WMU is to educate and involve all ages in the cause of Christian missions.
WMU is an auxiliary to the Southern Baptist Convention.
