I don’t have an overly-romantic engagement story. Here it is, in a nutshell. It was spring break. We were at my parent’s house. I put on my pajamas, washed my face, and went to tell my boyfriend goodnight before returning to my sister’s room to sleep. He asked me to marry him, pulling out a glittering ring from behind his back, and slid it on my finger. I said yes, and we went downstairs to tell my parents. That’s it.
