Courtney Simpson
myMISSION manager
  Janet Erwin
Adult Design Editor

After graduating with a degree in Religion, Courtney is pursuing her graduate degree in counseling. She has a passion for discipling young adults and students and for making God's Name known among all nations. If you see her outside of work, she will more than likely be wearing a WorldCrafts scarf or running with her puppy Elliot. Courtney is married to her best friend Jeremy.   Janet is our resident world traveler. She has visited approximately 35 countries and met her husband Monte while serving on the mission field. They have two third-culture sons in their early 20s. She frequents farmers markets in the summertime and drinks at least one cup of hot tea every day.

Michelle Drashman
Adult Team Marketing Strategist

  Jean Roberson
Adult Ministry Consultant

In her 30+ years, Michelle has navigated the waters of Disney’s Jungle Cruise, trekked new terrain as the first Alumni Director at University of Mobile, delved into the rich history and passion of WMU and myMISSION as a marketing strategist, and is presently diving head first into working on a master's degree in graphic design! She is a native of Mobile, Alabama, and has an undergrad in communications and art.    Jean is the very animated and highly articulate team leader of “all things adult” at WMU. She has worked at WMU for eight years and has a Masters of Social Work and a Certificate in Theology from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has one husband, two children, and three dogs. Her life verse is Micah 6:8.

Kym Mitchell
Student Design Editor

  Suzanne Reece
Student Ministry Consultant

Photographer, traveler, and event planner, Kym Mitchell works with students in 7th grade–college in her work at national WMU. She is a lover of NYC, anything related to a sandy beach, adventures of all kinds, and Friday Family Fun Nights—a weekly tradition. Kym is married, and a mom to a daughter who can’t decide if she wants to be a nurse, a professional singer, or a ball player when she grows up! Kym’s work has revolved around students for as long as she can remember, and her greatest love is seeing young women come to the realization that God, indeed, does have a special plan and purpose for their lives.   Suzanne is the missions consultant on the Student Resource Team at national WMU. She loves helping teenagers learn more about the plan and purpose God has for their lives, all the while encouraging student leaders to invest deeply in the lives of teenagers. Suzanne enjoys watching teenagers get “bit” by the missions bug and realize that they can change their world. When not working, she enjoys a good book, a home-cooked meal (cooked by herself, of course), a hot cup of coffee, and truly believes she was born to live under a palm tree. Suzanne’s favorite pastime is face timing with her sweet niece, Andy.
